Holistic
Critical Thinking Rubric - This
four level rubric treats critical thinking as a set of cognitive
skills supported by certain personal dispositions. To reach a judicious,
purposive judgment a good critical thinker engages in analysis,
interpretation, evaluation, inference, explanation, and meta-cognitive
self-regulation.
Kathy
Schrock's Guide for Educators - Assessment - Now
that we are using the Internet in the classroom to support instruction,
it is important that the area of assessment be addressed. The natural tendency
for teachers is to provide a rubric for student use and for assessment
purposes.
Below you will find a collection of assessment rubrics for use of the World
Wide Web that may be helpful for you as you design your own.

"Kid
Language" Writing Rubrics - The
following writing rubrics were written in 8th grade "kid language" so
that 8th graders (and their teachers) could understand them.
Some license was used in creating these rubrics, in that
I included elements such as writing in complete sentences
and
answering
all
parts of the question--elements that are not included in
the standard writing rubrics, but are certainly implied.
Includes:
Writing to
Inform, Writing to Persuade, Writing for Personal Expression
