Each of the five Fleetkids games teaches elementary kids a different aspect of money management. You can run an imaginary business (Windfall), try a real business (Front Yard Fortunes), or learn to save for a future purchase (Moneymatic). Two of the games (Chunka Change and Windfall) earn points and high scores are posted online. You can sign up for Fleetkids as an individual, or as part of an elementary school team, but only schools are eligible to win the quarterly prizes.

Change Maker - The Cash Register Game - a nice money game in levels with amounts up to $1.00, $5.00, $100.00) and "Big Spender". Figure out how many of each bill or coin that you expect to get back when you pay for something. If you get the answer correct, the amount of change is added to your piggy bank. If you get the answer wrong, the correct amount of change is subtracted from your piggy bank. The more money you get in your piggy bank, the harder the questions will get.

A unit for teachers from Tom Scavo that offers suggestions for using geoboards to explore the length and area of two-dimensional geometric figures. The Introduction includes pages that describe materials needed, offer discussion and activities for investigating length and area (in particular Pick's Theorem), and provide sample pages of dot paper to print out. Five lesson plans focus on lines, squares, rectangles, parallelograms, and right triangles, and a short bibliography rounds out the unit.
