The five-paragraph essay is changing the way I write. Using the five-paragraph essay is easy if you know how to use it and you are writing an expository writing prompt. When you are doing a prompt on the WASL state assessment test it is fast, because all you have to do is write a beginning, a three supporting details, and a conclusion. That is what the five- paragraph essay has helped me with.

I think the Five-Paragraph Essay is really helpful. It helps me get the idea of how paragraphs are formed. It also helps me in the WASL test. It took me a while to really understand but it was well worth it. All though the Five-Paragraph Essay doesn't always work for a Narrative essay it still is good to know for the Expository. I think the five-paragraph essay is fun, easy and helpful.

It took me a little bit of time to do the first prompt on the WASL. I got discouraged, but thanks to the Five-Paragraph Essay I finished and did a great job. I feel the five-paragraph essay has helped me very much in my writing. Our classroom is doing a test called the WASL, also known as the Washington Assessment of Student Learning. The WASL is a reading, writing, listening, and mathematics test. The WASL has taught me a lot.

There are two writing assessments in the WASL. The first assessment is a narrative assessment, which is a story type of writing. The second assessment is an expository assessment, which is an information type of writing. The five-paragraph essay form has helped me a lot in the writing essay parts of the test. I like the five-paragraph essay form.

My teacher also has the class do a journal, for homework every night. This week and next week while we are taking the WASL we don't have to do homework. She says it's, too much work, but I could handle it. Doing my journal has prepared me for the WASL, although I'm still glad we don't have to do journal writes during the test weeks!

The five-paragraph essay has helped me a lot. It has helped me on the WASL, big time. Plus, I now don't feel so stressed when I take a big assessment test in the writing part. It has also helped me understand the kind of business writing my step-mom does and why she spends so much time on it. Now I feel like I can be of some use to my second eldest sister when she has them. But now that I know how to do it it will help me when I am older and grown up. When I did the pre-writes they helped me organize my writing a lot. The five-paragraph essay has made me proud to know how to do it and helped me a ton.
