Terrific Trailblazers - Student Recognition Program

The Pioneer TERRIFIC TRAILBLAZER Program is a student incentive and self-esteem recognition program. Our staff and students focus on enhancing student’s work habits and positive social skills. We want to help children succeed in school, at home and to be responsible citizens.

Goals for each month will outline appropriate school and work behaviors. The community at Pioneer Elementary looks forward to this opportunity to encourage our students to work to their potential, academically and socially, as our students practice good behavior.

MONTHLY GOALS
The staff at Pioneer Elementary is committed to teaching behavioral expectations and reinforcing the positive behaviors taught. The staff will identify monthly behaviors to be taught and will teach the behaviors in the classroom. Monthly goals, beginning in September, will become the theme for the month with recognition for students who practice those positive behaviors. Students who are caught practicing good behaviors will be given a Terrific Trailblazer ticket. The tickets will be collected each week and ten lucky children will be drawn at random to be recognized as Terrific Trailblazers of the Week. Monthly goals are:
September
I follow the rules without being asked.
October
I show leadership in the classroom
November
I help others in my school and community.
December
I am organized.
January
I am responsible for my learning.
February
I am respectful towards adults and students.
March
I am willing to volunteer my time.
April
I exhibit a positive attitude.
May
I have made personal improvement.

Please select any month to see the outstanding students who received  the Terrific Trailblazer Awards for that month.
